Story

The demon Tripurasura received a boon that made him nearly invincible. He built three flying cities that moved across the universe, spreading chaos and suffering. The gods were unable to stop him and sought Lord Shiva’s help.

Shiva mounted a divine chariot with the gods themselves forming its parts. At the perfect cosmic moment, when the three cities aligned, Shiva released a single arrow and destroyed all three cities at once.

This act, known as Tripura Samhara, symbolizes the destruction of ego, ignorance, and illusion. It teaches that arrogance eventually leads to downfall, and divine justice always prevails.
